Done in only for fresh and spectacular pizza to order, get it delivered and its soggy, order to go and pay extra for some reason.

You can taste the fresh ingredients on this pizza. Light crust. Interested staff. No frills. Great place.

Great little locally-owned pizza spot. The service is quick, personal, and friendly. Even more importantly, they made a damn good pizza - the ny style pizza is thin with a nice crisp/chewy crust, a tangy sauce, and a judicious use of real cheese, (not that cheap, chain pizza nonsense). I haven't tried the sicilian or the deep dish, but they both looked good. Added bonus: as a previous reviewer mentioned, this place has a take and bake option, which is far superior to delivery or takeout if you happen to care about the consistency of your pizza.

Would definitely recommend! Their pizza "feels" healthier than a lot of chain pizza companies. One can tell that they use quality ingredients.

I've been here numerous times for the food and the service. Rarely do you find a local pizza place that cares so much about the community it serves. The owner is a cool dude, the staff is great and friendly, and the prices aren't too steep. I have two thumbs and another appendage up - because it makes me that excited.

I am a fan, but with reservations. The pizza really is quite good here, and does taste very healthy and not at all greasy or heavy. And the garlic knots are hands down the best I've gotten from anywhere here in St. Pete. They are soft and fluffy, cooked perfectly and coated very liberally with butter and cheese. Exactly how they should be, not hard and heavy and doughy like what so many other places around here make. My only issue is that the girls who answer the phone, based on sound of voice and comprehension level, seem like they must all be about 12 years old. And they just changed their online menu to a terrible new format where you can't just see a list of anything - you have click into every single option to read a devoted page of what it is, but only 1 or 2 of which actually show you the price or the sizes available. Though while the build your own section for pizza shows small, medium and large sizes available, when I called to order a specialty pizza was informed that there is "no medium, just small, large and extra large". And with no prices listed, we got two large pizzas, and eight piece garlic knot and two slices of cheesecake and the total was $50, but I have no idea what the breakdown was. We happened to not care too much about cost last night, but nights where we might be more budget conscious, this will be a problem. Not very user friendly at all. However, the pizza IS very good.

Good stuff the happy hr specials are worth the friendly faces and good prices. A local favorite down the street. I wish the place was bigger but the smaller lease probably makes the prices better and food ingredients quality higher so I'm ok with it in the end. I just get slices there.

I had the Super-Man, which was Pepperoni, Sausage, Olives, Onions and some green peppers. On the side was of course, an order of four garlic knots that came with 2 bonus knots. They delivered to the hotel I am staying at in downtown St. Pete, in only about 30 minutes. It was a little soggy and greasy, probably because of the delivery, but I could tell it was still a solid NY style pizza. Ingredients were good, and the girl on the phone was really helpful.

Great new Pizza place. It's in the corner of the 38th Ave Publix shopping plaza is, where another pizza joint used to be. They do by the slice, eat-in, delivery, or my favorite- Take & Bake. I was feeding myself while my wife was out of town and bran flavored tofu aint on my menu if you catch my drift. Oddly enough, the "theme" if you could say it had one, was triathalons. Hence, "tri-a-slice". Their posted special was 2 slices and a drink for 5 bucks. Excellent pies. Thin, crispy, with great sauce. Bonus; it's not a chain. I am all about supporting local entrepreneurs.

Have always had a pleasant experience eating lunch here. Staff are very attentive to all customers. Great selection of reasonably priced single specialty slices.

Awesome pie! Crust was perfect, sauce was zesty and the cheese was evenly distributed.. Must give this place a try, if not for the food, go for the amazing service!

this is a great place to get really Good pizza. even the take home and cook pizzas are really top notch.

  • Andrew S.

Friendly staff, great selection, great ingredients, great quality. More than just a pepperoni pie, choose from many specialty pizzas that offer a great variety of flavor. Garlic knots were spectacular, especially paired with the marinara sauce.

This is my favorite go to pizza places their Chicago deep dish pizza is a good as I had in the windy city, and I love their take and bake I like to tell them when I have their take and bake pizza I taste the pizza and not the cardboard box. Just wish they delivered it.

i've been getting the pizza here for a few years and really like the taste. The crust is not super thin - but is more on the thin side - the way I like it. I always get carry out - I wish they would deliver a little further up in NE St Pete (gandy area). The staff is friendly but the times they give are just strange. I expect to hear about 20 mins to pick up a pizza but sometimes they will say 30 mins or 40 mins to pick up a pizza. They are near a Publix so I figure I can get some groceries while I wait. Every time I've stopped to check on my pizza first - it has always been ready (about 20 mins). I'd hate to think that if I took them literally it would be sitting in the warmer for 20 more minutes This has happened several times (at least 50% of the time I order). One star off for that.

This HAD to be my fist review. I am a pizza fanatic and at that a good pizza critic/eater. This place is sooo delicious, everything is made when you order unless u order a slice (which they also heat up and NEVER tastes reheated). The owner is almost always there and he is the coolest guy, really cares about the customer. THE PIZZA IS THE BEST!! NY Style, greasy..cheesy....delicious.

    (5)
  • Donnie A.

My review is for take out whole pizza. Maybe it is better if you just buy a slice there. By the time we got it home it was a soggy mess, grease had leaked through the box, and you could practically drink the bottom crust. I had to dry it off, refrigerate it, then warm it up on a skillet to get the crust to stand up. If im in the area, i may try a slice there and give it a second review, but i'm not going to go out of my way again.

  • Julie T.

One dollar a slice? Why yes. Garlic knots are very good. The guy who runs the place has a positive attitude and the place is clean and cozy. It's a good place. The pizza will not blow you away but it does the job.

Some of the best pizza I have ever had. Better than NYC!

I have had both delivery and take-out pizza here. Clearly one of the best around. Great sauce and plenty of toppings. They also have a bake-at-home pizza which is excellent.

AMAZING!!! You will have a whole new view of what quality pizza is. The staff is wonderful and the pizza is WOW!

Try this place out for some great pizza. They offer a great selection by the slice. Easy to drop in for lunch or a quick dinner.

One of the best kept secrets in St Pete... Fresh ingredients and a top notch staff that makes you feel great when dining in... $1 slices all day everyday when dining in... can you say affordable!!! I always find myself stopping in when going shopping at Publix for a quick fix... A must for every pizza lover out there!!!

    (5)
  • Clayton L.

I live in Tampa but I drive to St Pete for Tour de Pizza! These guys have a ton of flavors and a really cool atmosphere. They also have a low carb/high fiber crust (if that's you're thing) that can make having pizza for dinner a healthy option. Bottom line, if I'm going out for pizza then Tour de Pizza is at the top of my list.

  • Omaira D.

My first weekend in the city and I walked by here due to their "Tri A Slice" sign. They were extremely welcoming and friendly. Broke down their menu for me and even gave me a free order of garlic knots because they're proud of them and wanted me to give them a try. Pizza was nice, not too saucy, I can't complain. Good people. Good food.

  • John L.

I've never seen an average pizza place go even more downhill, so fast. The last three times I've been there, it's been awful. WAY too much sauce on the pizza and definitely undercooked. And it just doesn't taste good. The abundance of sauce tastes like chef boy r dee, and it also has the same watery consistency. On top of the low quality pizza, they screwed up my order the last two times. First time, the bottom fell out of the pizza and I had to wait for another to be made and this most recent time, I ordered a pepperoni pizza, got home and no pepperoni - just a bunch of sauce in a box with sporadically patches of crust and cheese. They should follow Pizza Hut's "I'll show you what you're getting before you leave the store so you don't get screwed when you get home" rule. And the garlic knots - too much garlic. Bad stomach ache at 2am. No more Tour De Pizza for me.

5 stars of Awesomeness, The Stromboli was the best that I have ever had. Not only was it fresh and made to order, they let you pick your toppings. Most places either have them pre-made with only about 3 toppings max or once they run out they don't make more for the day. The fact that they make it fresh is just spectacular!!! I am definitely looking forward to trying the rest of the menu. Staff was super friendly and even checked on me while eating to make sure I was completely satisfied. Manager Mike, runs a great store. Employees greeted customers like they were family and the restaurant was spotless. Will definitely comeback!

Great food, amazing customer service, give military discount, they box your food for you, and ask if you want condiments to go. What else do you need man?! You gotta try to the garlic knots!

  • Stephanie V.

Yum! We ordered the Greek pizza and garlic knots. First of all, get the knots. GET THE KNOTS. They are garlicky puffs of amazingness. I really liked the pizza sauce too. Not too sweet and not overpowering. The Greek was really delicious. They cut everything up into manageable pieces - even the tomatoes. I hate taking a bite of pizza and having a huge slice of tomato slide off and then your trying to grab it or eat it and your leaning over your plate all hunched over and it's just a mess. We had delivery and the pizza was nice and hot.

    (5)
  • Jenn D.

Best pizza I've ever had! Matt and his crew care about their customers and take great pride in the restaurant.

    (5)
  • Adrienne D.

Extremely rude staff and poor service. They couldn't have cared less that my business was there. While they were looking at their own work schedules and talking to each other, I stood at the counter patiently waiting for attention so I could get my food and leave. Basically zero personality here and no appreciation of customers.

  • Christian M.

We decided to try this place based on the 4 star reviews and were very disappointed. First of all, we are from the northeast so finding pizza that meets our standards in the south is tough. This pizza is just bad. The dough is super thin so it sogs up from all of the sauce and the pie itself is super small for an extra large which is $20 bucks with all the toppings. I will say the sauce and toppings had good flavor but it's not pizza when all you are eating is mush. Does anyone know any REAL NY style pizza in Tampa Bay?

Pizza here was always good. Pretty consistent flavor. Service is great. Not suitable for a nice dine-in. Quick bite or take out.

My son wanted pizza for dinner. He's been pretty good all weekend so I figured I could treat him out. Thanks to my fellow Yelpers, I decided to come here based on the reviews. They had two girls on the register ringing up phone orders as well as taking walk in orders. The place was packed! Phones were ringing like crazy, pizzas were moving out of the restaurant like clockwork, it was fun to watch. You order at the counter and someone brings it to your table. They take your name so they call it when order is ready. We ordered some garlic knots and a large pepperoni pizza (leftovers for the hubby, I don't have to cook dinner, win-win!). Food did take a little bit of time to come out, but they were understandably busy so no worries. I didn't understand the point of taking our name though, because I watched the girl walk to another table with our garlic knots asking if they ordered it before coming back to our table and asking us if we ordered. Garlic knots- oh my yum! Such garlicky goodness, almost thought about ordering some more and just foregoing the pizza. Our pizza arrived shortly after the garlic knots. I really did think we would have leftovers to take home...we came outta there with one slice left. The pizza was on point. Crust was nice, lots of pepperoni and cheese and the pizza sauce was tasty. I think I've found my favorite pizza spot here in St. Pete! I want to try some of their specialty pizzas soon because they looked absolutely mouthwatering. Next time!

  • Olive D.

There are so many pizza joints here in St. Pete that having rude service just takes a place right out of the spot light. As a restaurant professional I always try to "understand" if they are busy or training a new server. This was just uncalled for rude service. Bummer, on top of that, the pizza was below average for my taste.

  • Jay S.

Talking about a hole in the wall? What can I say about this place, it's small yet comfy. Yes the fellows behind the counter twirl the dough up..and yes it's is all hand rolled. The sauce is pretty good, not salty yet tasty, the sausage I ordered is decent and the mushroom is like the one I am accustomed to. I give it 4.5 star for flavor, service is 5 and price is a bit high for a large 14 inch @$13.99. And if it was like at the $11 range I'd return more often, so I'd it give price a 3.5 star. Yeah understand they aren't pizza hunt or papa john.

  • Joshua B.

I have to say I think this is the best local pizza in the area. I really like the options they provide and love the fact I can stop in for a slice or two when in a hurry. They typically have 5-10 pizzas cooked and can quickly heat a slice up for you. The stuffed pizza and the McClellan are amazing pies. The staff has always been friendly and attentive.

  • Nikki V.

There was nothing on the menu that we found that didn't taste excellent!!! We ordered take out even, Next time will dine in. Very good fresh pizza!!!! The Garlic bread!!

Tour de Pizza is soo good! When I saw they had a groupon, I couldn't believe my eyes. I immediately bought one and ordered 2 pizzas that night and paid nothing additional other than what I paid for the groupon voucher. This was great because I was able to order a couple different things other than what I usually order. I ordered the McClellan and the Buffalo Chicken. Those pizzas were soo good, as soon as I got in the car and started to drive home with them I looked down and realized that I ate one of the entire pizzas already and hadn't even made it home yet, smh. You would think I would be full right? But no when I got home I devoured the McClellan and left 1 piece so I didn't feel like a complete pig :) The crust is really thin so I am assuming that is why I was able to eat through 2 pizzas in 45 minutes, lol. They are a little thicker than flat breads in my opinion. Definitely go, quality ingredients, hot and fresh.

  • Acquandist H.

I give this place 3 stars only because delivery time was reasonable and the deliverer was kind and patient. Otherwise the pizza was just okay. The crust tasted odd, the sauce was generic. I honestly do not know what the hype is about. There are far better pizzerias in the area. I also had their cinnamon knots and they were extremely greasy. To each his own I guess.

This is my favorite pizza place in St. Pete! First of all, Matt McClellan, the owner, is the nicest guy ever. He is very involved in giving back to the community and Tour de Pizza has been a great community partner for my kids' elementary school. Matt gets to know his customers and truly cares that they have a great experience. The pizza is awesome! My personal favorite is the McClellan (a white pizza with sausage, spinach, mushrooms and tomatoes), but the variety of specialty pizzas is fab and just the plain old cheese can't be beat according to my kids. They have amazing crust and you never feel like their pizzas are greasy. One of the great things about Tour de Pizza is that you can order any pizza as a "take and bake". This is the perfect option for us, as I am always running all over town all day. I can pick up the pizza early in the day, freshly made but unbaked, wrapped in plastic, and take it home and stick it in the fridge. Then when we're ready, just bake at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes and it's always perfect. Love. Check out Tour de Pizza...you won't be sorry!

Now Read This...... My son and I visited here last week. It was NOT BUSY in the dining room, and there were multiple employees present. It was the third time I have been in to eat here (see previous review). We ordered 2 pizzas - standard pepperoni, and a ham and pineapple. I ordered mine well done, as the last 2 times in, the bottom became soggy before I pulled the second piece of a 8 slice pie. It took well over 40 minutes to receive our order. The pizza chef (we watched him) made 2 other dine in orders before ours, and about every delivery order in the line before ours....AND WE ORDERED WELL BEFORE THE OTHER 2 TABLES. He finally made our order, did not cook the one pizza well done as requested, proceeded to box our pizzas to go, then UN-Box the pizzas, and then had the counter attendant deliver them to us. REALLY? AT LEAST 7 EMPLOYEES at work there that night, and they cant seem to get a F#@%!ng pizza out in a reasonable amount of time, cooked the way we requested. I mentioned to the counter attendant, after he asked, that we were not happy with the food or service. Isn't it irritating when you go into a place hoping for greatness, and instead experience the opposite? They lost a customer, and received this bad review as a parting gift...deserved.

Heard this place was good, but went there and wasn't nothing special, sauce was generic tasting, kind of disappointing.

Kind of pricy for what you get but the pizza is amazing. Check them out if you're in the area.

Best pizza in town. If you like veggie pizza try the Greek pizza. It's wonderful. They are located in the northeast shopping plaza.

  • Meg R.

As far as pizza spots go, this might be my favorite in the Tampa area. I love the variety of options, and that the staff isn't uppity about making special requests to the custom pies. All the ingredients are incredibly fresh; the basil on my pizza tasted like it had just been pulled from the garden. Plus, the crust has that exceptional smokey flavor. If you're a cyclist, you'll dig all the old frames and kits that adorn the walls. I had fun spotting the races that the staff had done as well as figuring out who had signed the framed jerseys. I also love that they serve so many differently types of pizzas by the slice - I hate when you go to a place and you can only get cheese or pepperoni.

  • Ali C.

Quick update to let you know they now offer beer and wine too and have pairings with their specialty pizzas. Matt the owner is back in town and hands on. He and his staff are great. They are wonderful partners of the community and continue to give back!! Enjoy!

I have heard awesome things about Tour De Pizza, but for some reason I didn't try it until a few weeks ago. The pizza was amazing! I will admit that I haven't had much pizza outside of your typical crappy pizza delivery places. This pizza is definitely on a whole new level. We ordered The McClellan and The Breakfast pizza by the slice. While they didn't really go together, we didn't care. They were both completely delicious in different ways. I normally like thicker crust and lots of sauce. This pizza is thin crust and very little sauce, but it doesn't need it. The flavors were so intense. The slices were also HUGE. We were starving and had a hard time finishing two pieces. One piece is probably enough for most people. I can't wait to go back and try some more pizza. Note: Their hours on Yelp appear to be wrong...they actually open at 9am. We were there when they opened at 9am and told to come back in a half an hour or so because nothing was cooked. You may want to keep this in mind if going early.

  • Mathew R.

This is really good pizza in a good location with good service. I really like the specialty pizzas and by the slice... The reason I gave it 3 is because I don't love it like my other factors pizza places... But it is very good.. They should make their crust better.. It's s bit dry

Tour De Pizza is one of the most unique pizza places. My husband and I used to live around the corner from Tour De Pizza and decided to check it out after hearing the owner was on a 30 day pizza diet on the news. Pizza diet?!?! This guy is my hero! The fresh toppings and unique combinations really stand out at Tour De Pizza. The $1 slices and buy one get one free specials are great if you are on a budget and the "take and bake" pizza is an awesome concept. Buy a pizza now and cook it when I am ready to eat it. Bring on the midnight munchies!!!

  • Jessica P.

I mean...pizza is never really BAD; but this pizza, this pizza right here...never fails to be awesome. I'm always impressed by consistency, especially when I know it's not a big box chain, getting everything frozen and shipped in. Heart.

Finally a good pizza. I have been having mixed results with pizza in St. Pete. I have been getting great pies in Tampa but after bad experiences at Westshore Pizza(Just aweful pizza) , Central Pizza(inconsistent results), and Cappys Pizza(terrible service for medeocre pizza); I have found a pizza that I can dig into. We got a McClellan pizza and it was fantastic. The sauce was seasoned but not overly so and slightly tart. The crust was crisp along the edges and bottom. The toppings, especially the cheese, was fresh and of high quality. Man I like the fresh mozzarella because that can really make or break a pizza. I really cannot think of a single complaint about the pizza. The salad was just alright. I wish that they had a big antipasti salad but oh well. The restaurant is a little hard to find with a pain in the butt parking lot to navigate but once you get there is is cool, fresh and comfortable. I especially like that these are made in a real pizza oven not the blast furnaces that Pizza Hut uses to mass produce pies. I liked watching the fire dance over the pizza while I waited. Now if I could only get them to deliver to Gandy because they stop around 80th.

  • Michael C.

I love Westshore and it is usually my go to Pizza place in Tampa or St. Pete. But sometimes you want to try something else. Tour De Pizza had some great reviews, so we decided to give it a shot. My normal pizzas are usually the Meat Lover (though as I get older I'm starting to look at other options) and the Hawaiian. Well they have both of those here, but we decided to go even more unique and get the Pearsciutto - pears, prosciutto ham and gorgonzola. This was definitely a healthier tasting slice of pizza. The sweetness of the pears, the saltiness of the prosciutto and the sharp gorgonzola make for a unique taste that doesn't feel greasy or bloating. There are a few other unique pizzas on the menu I'm looking forward to trying.

Compared to some of the bad pizza places around here, this one is not bad. Ordered delivery once, slice twice, its not horrible, just ok pizza, but Im still searching for better places around here.

  • Leigh C.

Really good crust. This is a "by the slice" place (you can also order whole pies) that makes for a quick visit if you're in a hurry. We went for lunch and it was still packed when we left at 2:30. Not a lot of seating so if you have a group, get it to go. They've captured the "city pizza place" vibe without capturing the obnoxious attitudes you find in NY or Chicago. We will be back.

    (5)
  • Day W.

Great pizzas. Not so great on service. Good thing we were't in a hurry. Should not have 5 guys (maybe 4) behind the bar with none paying attention to the customer who's trying to get someone's attention to inquire about the status of the pizza slices which are being overheated in the oven.

woo hoo back in florida and thank you to all the fellow yelpers help me decide what to have for our first take out dinner... I ordered a pizza for delivery with 5 toppings ... only thing was the crust was a little over thin fork and knife worked well!!! Delivery and customer service rep very professional ... no pizza left A+

The pizza here is great. There have 4 vegetarian specialty pies, or else of course you can design your own. The service here is always wonderful. Good kids with great phone presence and manners. They have a good time joking around while working but it never interferes with business. I love the Greek pie but the Peoples Champ is similar. Also really loved the veggie pie. This is our go to pizza joint now that Valentino's is closed.

Decent thin crust pizza Their xtra large is a large at best and with 2 toppings was pricey for what you get

Been wanting to find out what the fuss was all about so on a torrentially rainy Sunday I ventured in. Good atmosphere lots of pizza varieties to choose from except of course my favorite , Sicilian. I asked for 2 Neapolitans and of course I get the " what language are you speaking look". So I shoot back I will take 2 regulars which deployed another " huh"? Oh you want just cheese no toppings ? Yes sweety . Pizza without toppings I know it's a concept that people here can't swallow but back in pizza Mecca it's just another delicious day in Pizza Paradise. I should point out she was very nice and friendly. My only request was just warm not hot , unfortunately that even simple request went to the wayside. After 5 min they handed me the box which I kindly said is this it? The box itself I think was heavier than the pizza ,not a good sign. Got back to my truck and opened it and looked good. Unfortunately I had to wait until the lava sauce to cool down enough to take a bite. Maybe next time I could put the box in the bay to cool it down faster. One thing I hate besides crappy pizza is molten pizza I ask for it specifically just warm please. I can't enjoy it if the combo of cheese and sauce becomes infused into the roof of my mouth so I can reminisce it for the next 3 days. Yes I know , Cam get to the friggen review. The pizza after it solidified back to normal was actually good despite being lighter than air. Good crust nice chew good distribution of cheese ( yes that's an important aspect ) And decent price $4.25 for 2 slices. My only complaint was the sauce was overly sweet which detracts from the quality a lot. But overall I did like it even if they almost liquified it

just went to eat here for my first time ,,they had really good customer service ,very friendly ...i ordered The Kailua-Kona pizza includes fresh tomato sauce, mozzarella, ham, pineapple and mandarin oranges.it was really good finally found a good pizza ,the dough topping ratio was perfect and flavorful,,also had 2 Cannoli they were really good also filling all the way through which is rare ,,,all in all i have no complaints and will definitely be back ,,,, good job ,and thanks for the great food

Rad. Awesome. Amazing. Per request: our recommendation. We usually order what we call the "TK Special". This is a name we came up with for a pizza with green peppers, pepperoni, onion and green olives. If you ask them for a TK Special they won't know what you are talking about, but we will. Maybe one day we will see it on someone's menu... The cheesebread is awesome too! Also, the white pizza with spinach is a winner.

  • Jessica J.

Very Very very delicious pizza! They were quite generous with the toppings. The crust could have been crispier but who cares. Outdoor seating is available. The garlic cheese bread.. which is essentially a small pizza with just really garlicy cheese.. is totally delicious.

Great pizza on par with upper-crust of offerings in northern New Jersey. Menu is packed with options, none of which have disappointed.

This isn't my first go-around for this pizza joint. Nope, this is my go-to in the world of delivery. What I love about Tour de Pizza is that isn't greasy and actually feels healthier than most other pizzas I have had. Two pizzas I can't NOT order: Pear-scuitto & the MacLellan (sans shrooms). to-die-for. The salty edge of the prosciutto married with the sweet pear and 5 cheeses is enough to blow a gasket in a good way. The Mac pizza which is named for the owners namesake is just as delish. Spinach, Italian Sausage, Basil and cheese. Great fresh salads as well. I live close to them so the wait is never too bad. The delivery drivers are also super friendly and nice. I highly recommend in the St. Pete area if you want good pie!

We read the reviews. We scoured the menu and saw the myriad offerings along with the story of the amazing pizza diet. It boasts of being "real New Yorker approved." It's close to our place, so off we went to satisfy the strong pizza jones that snuck up on us. OK....what am I missing? It's a cute little place, emphasis on little. There are 5 tables in the joint and a counter with a few seats. Different types of pizzas are displayed across the counter for ordering by the slice. I think these are supposed to whet one's appetite, but they all looked like they'd been sittin' there awhile...congealed and dry looking. I can forgive any type of decor if the food's good, but this place is more about the hype than the substance. We ordered a sausage and onion thin crust. The sausage looked and tasted like ground beef crumbles. No discernable flavors of fennel, basil, oregano, etc, and the sauce was bland. Pie-shaped pieces required one to do the "NY fold" because it was so damn soggy and greasy. Service was a bit scatterbrained. The waitress tried to save the fact that she forgot part of our order by remarking what a crazy day it was. We were one of three occupied tables in the whole place. I wish them well. I like to see places like this in my area, but the next time the pizza jones hits, we will not be going here.

Amazingly good pizza. Thin crust, huge variety of toppings and it's fantastic. Love the Buffalo Chicken Pizza and the Something Delicious. It's not on the menu, ask for it, so good. Really friendly people, great place to get dinner!

Tour De Pizza is a great pizza place! I've been here twice now and I would have to recommend to everyone to get the Garlic Knots, they are awesome! They also have a lot of interesting and unique pizza's to choose from and some of the old favorites with an interesting twist. I would also check out all of their weekday deals, I haven't made it to one dollar slices yet but everyone else raves about it. I would definitely recommend going there.

Been meaning to check this place out forever. Dropped by for lunch today. Garlic knots were great. Buffalo chicken slice was excellent. Cheese slice was cheap ($1) but forgettable.

Always on the hunt for great pizza and calzones, I visited Tour de Pizza tonight. The first thing I noticed were the flames in the pizza oven and I took that as a sign of good things to come. I ordered at the counter and when my calzone with pepperoni, ricotta and mozzarella cheeses arrived, it was (seriously) perfectly golden. The ingredients were in perfect proportion and it came with an extra sauce. Other places in town charge up to 99¢ for an extra sauce and here I didn't even ask for extra it just came with two. Their sauce is light with FRESH herbs. I had a basil leaf in mine, that's how I know. Service was friendly and the place was cute and clean. This is my new go-to calzone eatery and I can't wait to try their pizza!

I ordered a large pepperoni pizza for take-out after reading all the reviews on yelp. Biggest mistake. The pizza was by far the greasiest pizza i've ever had. The crust was soggy and i'm not sure about everyone else's comments, but the pizza did not taste fresh. I would have been happier ordering Dominoes delivery. I will not come back here again.

I am writing this review based strictly on the Greek pizza. I will update this as I try other pies. How can it be called a Greek pizza when it lacks gyro meat and olives? Feta does not a greek pizza make. Slyce and Spartan (recently closed, unfortunately) keep the award in this catagory.

Can't go wrong with a pizza joint that has a pie named after your man! We tried the 'Johnny' and the 'PEARsciutto' pizzas. VERY good! Not greasy at all, super crispy crust, and delicious ingredients! Give it a try!

Tour De Pizza is a toss-up for me. When it's good....it's really good. The pizza is usually excellent and I love the unique specialty pies. But the two times I've eaten in the service has been painfully slow. And my boss loves it so we get it delivered almost weekly to the office, and it's often really soggy when delivered. So considering the prices which are pretty steep in my opinion, it's not always worth it.

This was a creativ. Take on pizza, cycling culture, and getting fit. Yes, in Italy this is plausable, but in st pete, the smbuace isn't right. The pizza was also a very long wait, need to invest in a better pizza oven, or more ovens. Pizza's, although a bit greasy, were very good.

For being such a random little place in the middle of a shopping plaza, Tour de Pizza is great! The price is reasonable and the pizza is delicious. I was disappointed I wasn't able to try the Pear-scuitto pizza, but the Iron Man was pretty tasty. I'll be going back again!

I heard great things about this place but I have to say I was pretty disappointed with the overall experience. First, when I called to place an order for pick up, I barely had a chance to speak because the girl on the other end was barking questions at me. I hate feeling rushed and that's really what it was like- as if she had way more important things to get to. We ordered a margarita and a Greek salad and when we went to go pick it up, everything looked great but the pizza was only lukewarm. By the time we got home, it was cold! As a pizza-lover, I think there is nothing worse that eating cold, soggy pizza so I heated it while we ate the salad. As far as flavor goes, the salad was fantastic and really good quality- fresh, crunchy and delicious! Once the pizza was hot, I enjoyed it, and the crust was really good but it was thin. Overall, I've had better pizza but this place might be worth trying out- maybe it's way better if you eat in.

I have not had pizza this good since I lived in NYC. Looking at the place, it absolutely reminds me of so many of the neighborhood joints I used to frequent. The slices and pies are delicious and the people who work there smile, joke with each other and generally appear to have a good time "working" which is always a good sign. For $1 slices in house, what do you have to lose?

Well, let me start with saying that I'm about as big a pizza snob as they come, so it's hard to find truly delicious and well made pizza in this area. Having said that, I tried Tour De Pizza for the first time a couple months ago. I ordered the Superman to go. The ingredients were fresh and it tasted very good. However, the bottom of the pie was extremely soggy. So soggy that the slice couldn't even be picked up to be eaten. I had to take paper towels to the entire pizza and then place it in the oven to get the bottom crispy. Because the pizza tasted so good, I wanted to give them another chance. Maybe there were too many ingredients and it weighed the crust down, maybe the dough got tossed too thin, maybe it needs to cook a little longer, maybe, maybe, maybe... Fast forward to tonight; I place another to-go order. This time, just pepperoni and mushroom and I ask them to make it extra crispy to avoid the soggy bottom. They call it "well-done." We get the pizza home and this one is soggy on the bottom, too. I'm so disappointed. They really have a great product, but I'm not about to pay for soggy pizza. That was the last chance, not going back. I will give 5+ Stars on the Cinnamon Knots, though!!

We sat at the counter and the guy making pizzas, I believe his name was Mike, starting talking to us. We ordered a large Iron Man and a slice of The People's Champ to split while we waited. We found out he has been at the restaurant since it opened. We went here because we had a Groupon, and man are we glad we did, the pizza was absolutely outrageous. The best I have ever had. My girlfriend is from NY and she said it is better than any she ever had in NY. Thin crust with wonderful flavor cooked to just the right consistency and great tasting fresh toppings. This will be a regular on our favorite restaurants list from now on for sure. We told Mike that none of the pizza places in our neighborhood are anywhere close to this good. He asked where we were from and we told him Seminole. He said "Wow, this really isn't your neighborhood." I told him when it comes to pizza, this is my neighborhood now!!! Their pizza rocks!!! As my NY girlfriend says, "it is to die for". Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!!! Thanks Tour De Pizza, we will see you guys real soon!!!

The only thing that sucks now that I moved to Tampa is missing this awesome pizza joint. It's actually rare to find an awesome pizza place that puts quality ingredients on their pizza nowadays. They rub a type of garlic butter on the crust and it makes it really delicious. I've eaten here maybe 8 times and I've never had a bad pizza. I recommend this place! Two thumbs up.

They won me over not just with the dollar pizza slices. They won me over with the attitude of the whole staff and the owner. They all had a great sense of humor and were very friendly!! I watch one gal offer to give this lady a slice cut in half for her kids!!! The owner Matt lost weight on a pizza only diet. I may try this...got to work out too!!!! Oh they had apple crumb pizza which looked good !!!

This place is amazing... The girls at the register are friendly and nice. The garlic cheesebread is ridiculously good. We got a 12" veggie pizza w black olives, green peppers, onions, tomatoes, and mushrooms. It was delicious. The crust is crispy, but not burnt. We also had a Stromboli with ham, pepperoni, sausage and mozzarella. Our group said the meat was seasoned so well they would absolutely order it again. You get to watch them hand-toss the crust and fully prepare the entrees behind the glass divider. They also have premade pizzas that you can order single slices from. We are out-of-towners, but when we come back to the St Pete area we will definitely make it back here!!

A little more pricier than some of our other choices but the pizza was better than all the rest. Not the greatest I've ever had, but definitely great. I can't give them less than 5 stars because having this quality of pizza available for delivery to me is outstanding.
